Pint + Jigger Review | Honolulu, Hawaii

Monday, December 1st, 2014:

1936 South King Street + Open daily from 4:30pm | Pint + Jigger provides an escape. An escape to AMAZING beer! It is so good. And who doesn’t love a chalkboard beer menu. To me that signals rotating beer that is always fresh. mMmMm. I like this place because it has that rustic feel and with that rustic feel, I feel warm and comfortable. Or is that just the tall boy beers I’m drinking? I am not sure. Either way, I feel great. This place is also fun because they have bench seating. When we go, we are able to […] Read More →

Waikiki Scuba Diving Center – Honolulu, Hawaii

Monday, June 9th, 2014:

The picture above was when I went scuba diving with 3 of my friends for the very first time. We used a Groupon that was half off and it was a beginner’s course. We didn’t need to be certified at this point. It was such a thrill, but I was so scared. I wanted to respect the sea and not touch anything. Also, I had the fear of sharks, but instead found a sea turtle. That was very cool. Our first time, we had two dives or how they called it “two tank dive.” My friend got scared the first […] Read More →

Product Review: White Oakley Flak Jacket Polarized Ice Iridium Sunglasses

Saturday, January 4th, 2014:

First of all, I would like to say the picture above is not the exact glasses I have, but that was the only picture I could get. I have the Ice Iridium Lenses verses the regular polarized lenses. Second of all, I love these sunglasses! I have been waiting to buy these Oakley Sunglasses for years. I was always worried that I would spend all this money and then sit on them and break them. I also heard that the lenses scratch easily, but I finally took the dive to actually put it to the test. So far, I have […] Read More →

Hawaii’s About-Face On Gay Marriage

Monday, December 9th, 2013:

Hawaii’s About-Face On Gay Marriage By Larry M. Elkin Much of the media coverage concerning Hawaii’s legalization of same-sex marriage observes that the issue has come full circle. Hawaii was the first state to even consider extending marriage rights to same-sex couples, a discussion it began back in 1990. While the “full circle” imagery is not inappropriate, it isn’t the most interesting part of this story. What intrigues me most about Hawaii is how the first state whose voters rejected gay marriage has now joined a growing list of those that permit it. Hawaii became the 15th state to legalize […] Read More →

Pacific Skydiving Hawaii Review – The Good, The Bad, & The Very Ugly

Sunday, December 8th, 2013:

Pacific Skydiving – The Good, The Bad, & The Very Ugly I already wrote about Pacific Skydiving, but let’s face it that review was short and shitty. That first review was my first tandem jump ever, so I was on a high. I enjoyed the great experience. Then, I went the second time with my eyes wide open and realized that behind that great experience was a lot of bad things happening. I guess I dismissed it the first time because I left there with my high and it clouded the not-so-fun-part of my exhaustive experience. I was thinking about […] Read More →
